I was born and raised in New Jersey and after graduating from high school joined the U.S. Army in 1961 where I served three years as a Military Policeman.
I met my wife Karen in high school and we were married in 1963. We have two daughters, Vicki and Donna and a grandson, Lane. I spent 17 years in law enforcement in both New Jersey and Tulsa, OK where we moved to in 1969. In 1981 I went to work for AT&T in their security department and moved to Corpus Christi Texas in 1984. We moved to San Antonio in 1985 and I retired in 2000.
After retirement I worked for an International Evangelist for two years and served on the Staff of my former church for nine years. While at that church I taught Bible, New Believers and New Members classes. I also ran the Men’s Ministry for three years and oversaw the Ushers and Greeters. We were at that church for 28 years.
Karen and I joined the Gathering Midtown in 2013. I have served on the Gathering’s Leadership Team for three years and enjoy working alongside our Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Cass Staffel and Mickey Conrad guiding our church. I was a CASA (Child Advocate working with CPS placed children) for seven years and spend a good part of my time playing golf and watching my grandson play sports.
